Good evening . I was commissioned to knit a cardigan for a little girl . The cardigan is a gift for Easter.
The client wanted bright orange colours for spring . I was able to choose the pattern .
Therefore I chose Hayfield Baby Blossom Chunky Pattern code 5572 and Baby Blossom yarn Shade Orange Blossom 372.
The pattern recomm ends size 6.5mm Knitting needle . However I have knitted the cardigan on a size 5mm to give a tighter tension . I used x 2 100gm balls of yarn , with some left over. The total cost for the cardigan was 13.00 Euros and my time .
I then finished the cardigan with a flower shaped button .
